As far as cloning milage, immobilizer and whatnot. That's where I am concerned.

clone millage only if cluster show 0 or up to 100km, after that you can not do any changes in AID cluster . not even with 10000$ tool

You can, but only forwards.
And not with vcds.

You send can-msg as "driving".

This is extremely interesting. More info?

It's "just" a matter of sending the correct can messages to the cluster. My best guess is that spacewalker has a wiring harness on his desk and properly has connected gateway, ECU, cluster and some more modules simulating can messages... and perhaps a can-bus shield for sending specific messages.

Just stays there.

Use any CAN cable(even older RT ftdi one), write Your own program and send canmsg directly to cluster.
Usually this info isn't public and shared.

300$ is a half of my paycheck, and for a lot less i can test this, but i just asked weather or not you tested it, I didn't ask for explanation what happens, I was planing on asking that later....:D

Unfortunately it's not like old Polo 6N, where it goes up to 300k and then restarts from 0 :D
