Hi guys I really need your help...…..


Have a 2014 Skoda with dirty water and flushing the cooling system. Ive done loads with ODIS but im doing this for a friend. I need to bleed the cooling system and it has two circuits. I've bled the high pressure circuit with ease!!!!! Its the low pressure circuit I cant work out for the life of me on VCDS!!!!! :banghead::banghead::banghead::banghead::banghead::banghead::banghead::banghead::banghead: Its driving me nuts as I cant input a value on the basic settings for test low pressure cooling system. Just for record it has to be done with battery on charge as it takes approx. 15 minutes.


Would appreciate help :thumbs:

erm sorry UWE. ITs and old one but nothing has changed. Im pretty well up there when it comes to these cooling systems with ODIS but I don't have it. I just need to bleed the low pressure system.

There is an Adaptation channel in that ECU called:
IDE08287 -- Bleeding of coolant circuit (not active, active).

There are also two Basic Settings:
IDE04795 -- Test - bleed low temperature circuit
IDE08087 -- Test - bleed cooling circuit

I'm not sure which of these will do what you're looking for, but they do exist.

There is an Adaptation channel in that ECU called:
IDE08287 -- Bleeding of coolant circuit (not active, active).

There are also two Basic Settings:
IDE04795 -- Test - bleed low temperature circuit
IDE08087 -- Test - bleed cooling circuit

I'm not sure which of these will do what you're looking for, but they do exist.

Morning all. The low pressure side of things is the only one that doesn't work.I cant get it to work as I don't know what value to input on the screen as it comes up and says out of range.

Jack European parts this was an old scan and yes id rectified a wiring issue by the charge air cooler on top of engine. Like I said I know these puppies and their quirks. Just not how to get the low pressure system to bleed.



Ive done the bleeding cooling circuit which is the running one. The other one is with the ignition off.....it just will not work.

Sorry, I'm on restriction for being bad & currently in a one on one cell, my neck is so tight, I can hardly breathe with this noose attached............. ;)

Have done it with ODIS now
If needed i can send diagnostic protocoll, but in german language

As I don’t have ODIS, I really need to know how to bleed the cooling system on my 2016 Seat Alhambra with the TDI 184 engine using VCDS.

I have run the cooling system bleed successfully, but have the same problem as the others on here with the low temperature circuit bleed.

One thing that occurred to me is that the cooling system bleed routine actually does the whole system on these cars as both circuits are linked under some circumstances. This would actually seem more logical than having two separate routines.

However, I really need to know as I do not want to risk damaging the engine.

By the way, I have the full factory manual and have followed it to the letter (until it tells me to connect the VAS system and follow the on screen guidance).

Please can someone help as without any proper guidance VCDS doesn’t seem to be very much use.
