Hex V2 drops out while running auto scan

Is there a reason why the USB interface Hex-v2 would drop out and then re-appear during and auto scan?

Windows makes the 'device unplugged' and then the 'device plugged in sound' and I cansee it vanish and re-appear in device manger.

VCDS hangs when it does this.

Running Windows10 on HP laptop.

VCDS 19.6.2

Hex-v2 driver 6.3.0.3

Windows 10 doing power saving and disabling the USB port?

IIRC there's a thread on here somewhere showing how to disable W10 power saving...

Not sure. if thats whats happening, laptop power mode is set to high performance. It's not going into sleep mode.

Will have a look for that thread. Thanks.
