I just purchased this 2009 AUDI A4 AVANT recently. Automatic Transmission. Rough idle. Shifting problems. It started having problems downshifting on the way home from work. Would stay in gears too long not shifting and then would act like it was going to die as if driving a manual transmission but would just rough idle. Showing a lot of different codes and not sure where to start really(P2177, P0299, P0506, P0301, P0303, P0304, P0302, P0300). Owner, where I bought it, is going to have it towed to a shop they work with to have it looked at. 
Don't know if I really trust this guy too much.
Update: 02/19/2020
Shop is saying it is a vacuum leak in the oil separator. I thought the PCV valve was it but he stated it was right next to the PCV valve. Will replace and test drive tomorrow.

Shop is saying it is a vacuum leak in the oil separator. I thought the PCV valve was it but he stated it was right next to the PCV valve. Will replace and test drive tomorrow.
