Hello there,

I got an VW MK5 where i got the ABS function test active and it wont enter in the learning mode.
As a background the owner disconnect the battery for replacing it and when he saw the ESP light on he try to enter with VCDS to solve the issue without driving with the car.
He activated from mistake ABS system test and now it seems that the test it doesn't dissapear.
I check the errors on ABS module and it doesn't give me any except this one.
I monitor the ABS sensors on the wheels and everything is ok .

I mention that the steering wheel is still working hard and i can get rid of that error on the steering wheel module.
I also calibrated the angle sensor on the ABS module and is say ok.
Can somebody help me with some info?

Did you try & In the same session correct any faults for SAS G85 in 0x44 do the adaptation and then move directly to 0x03 to finish it?

So i try to do the adaptation of Steering Limit Stop from WIKI but nothing and in terms of basic settings i try to calibrate again SAS from 0x03 but it say ok but the error doesn't dissapear from 0x44.
The thing is that i don't see the values on SAS when i check measure blocks in 0x44 or 0x3 and i don't know if there should be any since the calibration is not ok.

I don't understand how to "move dirrectly to finish it" (you mean to make the basic setting from 0x44 module and not 0x3?
