Hello,

New to the forums. Have use VCDS off and on for the last few years, but never mine, only a friends from the local shop.

I’m trying to enable the Comfort Windows on my T’Reg. I’ve done the coding and it shows in the radio now, but it doesn’t work. What am I missing?

Ok.. So now I am totally confused!

I gave up.. Came back after a few hours.. And the Down by remote works now. Just not the close by remote.. Maybe by morning, everything will work.. But I am doubtful..

Any input would be greatly appreciated! This is the only coding that hasn't worked first time, the way it should..

A delay before some tweaks work isn't a new thing, even back into the mid 2000's it wasn't unusual for some tweaks to require the CAN message header index to "overflow" before the tweak would work - the advice given then was to wait up to 24 hours and see if the tweak has taken.

Thanks. I’ll wait and see as now neither works again. Only change from before to now was I turned the sunroof off, as I don’t want that to open.

On older platforms even if you enabled sunroof open it didn't work, not sure if that's true of the newer platforms though :confused:

Well, those both have "Power Windows via Remote Control" enabled for Opening (061) and closing (062).

So I'm not sure what to make of your symptoms.

Thanks for that! One thing I notice is the close, adaption 62, includes KESSY, and the open does not. Since my truck doesn’t have the button start, I wonder if that is causing problems.
