2014/15 Touareg 180KW V6 TDI 7P

My first post and hope I get it right.

Purchased this vehicle in May 2018 from an authorized VW dealer in Brisbane Queensland Australia with Just under 25,000Klm. Saw the vehicle before it was detailed and could not believe the condition - looked like it had just driven out of the showroom. Not a mark underneath and everything was still shiny. Only one issue has raised it's ugly head and that is the RHS lower DRL LED is out and VW Australia doesn't really want to know. I am pushing them to replace it at no cost and will see how I go.

I used to consistently achieve between 6.2<6.5 Litres/100Klm on trips between the Fraser Coast and the city of Brisbane but recently this has changed and now the best I can achieve is around 7.8 Litres/100Klm and am motivated to discover why.

Just received my new Ross-Tech HEX-V2 and registered it and ran my 1st Auto Scan and have posted the results here as requested.

We have have a very similar T'Reg that we've owned since new. It now has over 80,000 km on it. We've never seen less than 7.5, and something like 8.0 to 8.5 not unusual. This is on long-distance trips between Pennsylvania and Florida. Around town, it uses more. Thus I'm baffled how you could have gotten 6.2 to 6.5.

I have a mate on the Sunshine Coast Queensland that purchased a 2016 180KW V6 TDI and he consistently achieves around the same mileage (6.3L/100Klm - mainly freeway driving) that I have been getting in the past!

I have a photo of the dash from a recent trip that I will attempt to post showing kilometers traveled, temp in degrees C and the average fuel consumption for the trip.6.7L/100KLM. This trip consisted of secondary highways with a speed limit of 100KPH, Freeway driving with speed limit of 110KPH and city driving 50-70KPH. When I achieved an average of 6.3l/KLM I traveled predominantly on freeways 110KPH. I will see if I can find that image and will post it to.

Well, I'll admit that I rarely drive that slow on the highway. We're generally between 120 and 130 (70 to 80 mph).

Well knock me over! Thought I had successfully sent a reply with images attached but not sure where it went? So here is my 2nd attempt and hopefully I am successful:

6.7L/100KLM achieved with my 15 Treg on secondary highways passing through towns with 50KPH limit. Highway mostly 100KPH some 80/90KPH sections. Some Freeway 110KPH and some city driving 40/60/70KPH limits
6.3L/100KLM achieved with my friends 16 Treg mostly on freeway 110KPH speed limit with a little city driving mostly in 60/70MPH speed zones on a return trip from Noosa to the Gold Coast and back.

Hope this gets up!

That's not an image. That's an Imgur post with two images in it. You need to put links you actual images (ending in .jpg or .png) in between your IMG tags, like this:
