We have a 2001 VW Jetta 2.0L that currently has a EPC code showing on the dash.
The car will start and idle fine, but completely ignores any gas pedal movement.
This is the PR-Build data picture.
So far as we know the car is in stock condition.
VCDS Auto-scan:
What we have already tried is the following:
Replaced gas pedal sending unit, did not fix the problem.
Swapped the MAF with some spares, none of which fixed the issue. (could be all three were bad, but unlikely)
We suspect that the ECU needs replacing, could that be why the VCDS scan output show so many problems in the Engine module?
Or is the ECU fine, and the car really does have all of the problems listed?
The car will start and idle fine, but completely ignores any gas pedal movement.
