    ok thankyou....
    will have a look and see what values I get...
    the other thing I did notice was it does not rev past 2000 rpm when engine is running and in neutral....is this a safety thing with Audi ?

    Yes, that's normal.

    Looks like it is. You can try to do basic setting for it. Check piping to it for damage or clogging.

    I am getting variable readings every time...there are 2 sensors...worth just replacing both ?

    An offset of nearly 200 mbar seems really high for a differential pressure sensor, doesn't it?

    mmm....what is PSI and what exactly do you mean by line contamination with negative deviation ?
    as posted earlier....its variable readings every time I tried a read

    2 exact same coded sensors sit beside each other in a silver heat bag
    but looks untouched and unmolested ......so
    can I swap them round and see what happens ?
    I am inclined just to replace both though
    reading the codes with no eml ....just pending emissions codes and very random as when it throws the fault but never with an eml or any lack of driveability...
    the 2 sensors are 04L906051 and have just noticed a single further towards the front of engine coded 04L906051 B aswell
