Ok, one more thing. Try to set it to variable interval first. Save the variable interval values and clear the codes. See if they come back.

Then set the fixed service interval values, save them and see if the errors come back.

^^^ hmmm.... perhaps knowing the setting for IDE00515-ESI: oil quality on OP's hex17 module might help? If the adaptation channel is set to poor oil quality , then the FIX bunch of channels are pertinent for the SRI procedure

I see maximum distance is 30600 which was one of the flags from the other thread. This was set to 15000 when I checked it last week, however I can see in Instrument adaptions (also on the other thread) there is alot more data and a maximum value for service and inspection, perhaps I changed the wrong one last, or was it reset when I performed the oil reset on the MMI? Anyway I'll get an adaption map of the Instrument cluster for a complete view and share.

ok here's the full adaption from instrument module, minus anything that doesn't seem to be related to servicing

IDE01153-SIA: maximum value of distance to service	19000 km
IDE01154-SIA: maximum value of time to service	365 d
IDE03349-FIX: Max. distance until next mileage-related inspection	30600 km
    IDE03350-FIX: Maximum time until next time-dependent inspection	730 d
IDE03351-FIX: Distance covered since last mileage-dependent inspection	200 km
    IDE03352-FIX: Time since last time-dependent inspection	9 d
Looking back over Wolfgangs instructions from the other thread, the ESI minimum distance and ESI maximum distance are ok at 15000/30000, but it looks like I changed ESI maximum value to 365d instead of ESI minimum value to 365d, so I can rectify that and see what it does for the fault code.

I've tried to make head and tail of the data and from what I can see:

    ESI is extended service interval;
SIA is the service reminder = oil service??
and FIX would be fixed service interval...

Is there an adaption that tells the car whether its on fixed or extended, or is it just a case of setting correct day/km for both ESI and FIX. I read oil quality - Poor = fixed. Does this mean Good = extended?

I'm thinking ESI min/max is irrelevant if I'm on fixed.
    SIA should be 15000km/365d
    FIX should be 30000km/730d

and I can adjust 'ESI distance/time from inspection' to match up with the fact I'm 6 months into my service year, and the same with the FIX distance/time from inspection.

    ..... I think

I think FIX should be also 15000/365 and not 30k/730 as that is the extended service interval duration. Fixed should be always 15k/365d

I think Audi fixed interval is oil service every 15k/365 and oil-inspection service every 30k/730d. If I set SIA and FIX to 15k/365d that would intimate both services every 365d?

    What's the difference on those?

All VAG cars nowadays have 15k/365d inspection service and 30k/730d oil service. And this on variable service interval.

So going with fixed service interval, add oil change to the inspection as well? Sorry this fixed interval is not very familiar to me as I've always kept the cars on variable service intervals

Variable servicing can mean no oil change for 30k/730d. The joys of long life oil.

Edit: for me I just see fixed as minor service/oil change every year and major service every two years. I think with Variable you get an inspection but not necessarily an oil change at 15k.

Yes exactly. 15k inspection does not have oil change unless the car says that oil needs to be changed (which has never ever happened to me). And this is on variable service interval.
