Thanks all, i reluctantly gave her to Audi stealers to sort out, they scanned and repaired a "Broken LIN wire" supposedly and replaced the rear boot lid seal which was allowing water ingress.... the rough idling has disappeared and the engine is trouble free according to the Audi scan... boot seal was €169 fitted, scan and repair LIN and clear battery monitoring and voltage regulation modules €80 and labour €240... a total of €555 ... cheaper then i expected... many thanks all who helped me out
