2011 A6 engine readiness status

If I'm understanding correctly, the engine readiness status is a check on emissions/pre-emissions? It spits out a binary code for the following fields:

1. Exhaust gas recirculation
2. O2 sensor heating
3. O2 sensors
4. A/C
5. SAI
6. EVAP
7. Catalyst heating
8. Catalytic converter

Should I interpret the following status in the scan below as the O2 sensor and Catalytic converter not being ready or that there is a failure with that component?

As a general rule, if you have a bit that that's a '1' (indicating failed or incomplete) and there are no fault codes, it means that test has not run yet.

Thanks for the reply Uwe. It's actually for a car that I am looking at purchasing. I'll have to see if I can get the engine specific scan done.

Did you know a ( 1 ) could also mean it failed or didn't run a readiness test yet, but would then if failed usually is indicated why & with a DTC but sometimes a bit won't pass unless it sees a DCY/condition not met & even though it ran in blocks while under observation and again indeed when no fault code, sometimes a learned logic loop happens if tests are done out of order & regardless of miles set it never makes readiness until controller is defaulted?
