VW T5 DPF Pressure Sensor Short To Ground

Can anyone help with the following DPF sensor error, I've replaced the sensor, blown through the pipes to confirm they are not blocked, authorised the new sensor through VCDS and done a DPF regen.

Every third start of the engine after clearing the error throws up the Short to GND error.

    Below is the VCDS Print.

    Code:
5262 - Diesel Particle Filter; Differential Pressure Sensor

We'll need to see a full unedited VCDS Auto-Scan. BTW just copy and paste the saved .txt file as explained in my signature.

    Welcome OP .....yeah as aforementioned!

How about qualifying the circuit tracks with DVOM and decade box back to ECU to verify you can extinguish or change the state of the DTC?

Got wiring diagrams for this vehicle?

The first thing to do with a "Short to GND" code is look for a missing voltage supply at the sensor or actuator that's flagged in the fault.

The engineering problems are likely insurmountable. It would be like proposing to land a rocket booster section on a barge floating in the middle of the ocean.

I don't have a wiring diagram, I've removed the multiplug on the sensor, there are 3 wires numbered 1, 2 and 3.

With the earth probe on 2 and positive on 1 there is no reading.
With the earth probe on 2 and the positive on 3 it reads just over 5 volts.

I did read somewhere that 5 volts was correct but i dont know what pin 1 should read.
