Hi one of my first posts got a scan but had already put cable away and shut car up so will paste it here if its ok the scan says low power to door module on passenger time so wondered if i could get some help Thanks

^^^hmm......... given that the DTC s are only in the passenger door modules (front and rear) and because the car isnt in "the first flush of youth" - doesn't logic suggest that there might be a problem with either the wiring loom, or the connectors to power supply for the master module (being front passenger door)? Of course the module itself might be faulty, but ensuring the integrity of the wiring/connectors from the fuse might be a good first approach IMO. Perhaps start by grabbing a voltmeter and measure the power pin on the module connector (while opening/closing the passenger door) - pay particular attention to the loom in the rubber sleeve from the A pillar to the door - and ensure that the module earthing wire(s) is good

Ok will start looking i have recently fitted a piggy back fuse in the fuse board for a dash cam might this also have something to do with it ? Also the mirror does not work but i assume it all comes from the module

Model year 2015 vehicle - I wouldn't call it that old to be already weary of wiring loom troubles in the door loom boot between the chassis and door.

There's the fault but does it have any real effects? If not, I'd just erase it and see if it comes back. No use in repairing what may not have to be repaired at all.

Otherwise the driver's side dash fusebox fuse SC46 is for the left side doors and SC47 for the right side (30A both). There's another fuse SC24, which feeds both sides. You can check these.

I have inspected the outer sleeve and can see no damage to it i also thought it was not that old the other issue i did have was a few weeks ago the boot would not open so i plugged in and it said there was a rear boot light short i cleared it and the boot opened and have had no issues till now but also do not know how long this issue has been there a few weeks at least

Had a thought i recently changed my climate control unit to a passat unit it all works as it should as far as i am aware it all works i have done the run in and flaps so they appear to work correctly but its the only one i can think off

Just looked at old coding to new coding as i had a scan from when i did cruise and it is indeed different to what i had before i fitted the different climate panel so it was 10004003 and after i fitted the panel the coding has changed to 14004803 so could this cause my problem with my doors please if someone could enlighten me i would be grateful

So still got this issue had panels off can#t see any broken wires in door or in door jams, nothing unplugged but everything appears to work from lock side as in door open it shows in cluster or open it sets off the alarm/shows in cluster if you lock the door but the door does not lock.My wife drove me the other day and i pulled passenger handle and it opened the driver door lock but it will not lock either passenger door and the door mirror does not work either but only on passenger side took off driver door panel but could not see any damage/unplugged switches so any ideas would be worth a try Thanks
