P.S. Looks like Jack and I are replying at the same time so please see if he comes up with the same coding but I removed the VIN from my coding in addition to that sketchy VCDS scan from the other shop. The base coding is identical:

.. but they inserted completely implausible VIN Bytes. That's why you were receiving Error 31 with the "original" coding.

Yeah Dana well in addition to the VIN string & that was clearly BS!

I saw that the HW of the two ABS scans were also different and than changed by the OP to DR the "pirate ghost" scan.
Ryan 'LUV", don't think I didn't see your FOD "fuckaroo" and is why I persisted to break your balls!
