The information is not consistent with what has been stated by you or the customer has lied to you about
" something "!

the car was delivered to us he said he removed the instrument cluster to replace the broken plastic screen witch he did but when he turned the ignition on he forgot the instrument cluster was not connected and plugged it back in and had the ABS ESP and brake warning on the dash.
he said he plugged it in with his cloned VCDS and that is what he has sent me I have tried to enter the code from the previous scan he sent but not accepting coding
im here asking for help as it was supposed to be a simple code in and out the door witch it hasn't tuned out to be
I can only give the information that I have been given if you cant help that's fine

I've edited the thread title; the VIN shows us this is a 2009 MY car, not 2008.

Well if that is what your customer told you, I'm completely comfortable letting you know that your customer is lying to you or is providing wrong information!

Right so a phone call to the customer and the story unfolds so he damaged the clocks facia and tried putting a different set of clocks into the car but he didn’t have any way of programming them as the Immobilizer blocked it but used the plastic from the other clocks but then had no ABS coding and that’s where he brought it to us

Does that sound likely
Can anyone Help I’m sick of looking At this car

I don't blame you for this, I'm just telling you your customer is indeed a liar or holding back information, do you really want to deal with someone like this?

PLEASE PROVIDE A PICTURE OF VIN NUMBER DATA PLATE OF DASH & DOOR JAM OF CAR IN CUSTODY & ALSO PR CODE TAG IN TRUNK AREA.

I’m out of pocket for this already

All your time is chargeable - you didn't break the car ;) More-so, if they won't tell you what they've really done! Or the fact they've screwed around with pirated tools and then want it fixed by a legit user.

If the coding isn't accepted: then it's wrong or there is more to the story.

It's happened before when "clones" have altered strings when reading or writing (most recently in BCMs though).

but WHY was he doing an autoscan WHILE the clocks were out of the car??? "He forgot" while he sat at the steering wheel, connected his "VCDS" and turned on the ignition and ran through the whole process??? Yeah right!

That autoscan should have been before he started, but it could still be his "clone" causing issues.

The CAN gateway is looking for a sliding door too... so there has been some other fiddling at some point.

I guess Jack and some others will try to reverse engineer the coding... make sure you charge for all your time - it's not your problem ;)

In this case the data provided is not TRUTHFUL & possibly vicariously.

Still no photos, must not be imperative..............
