I see GTD uses both of them.
Both are 125kw. What makes the difference?

I'm not sure of the differences between CBBB or CFGB without I have the Model Code for ElsaWin. Mine is CBBB and they both show the same power 170PS, 125Kw.

The CFGB is used in 26 VAG models. The CBBB is used in 15 VAG models

Golf GTD CBBB 04/09-05/10
Golf GTD CFGB 05/10-05/11

If you want a copy of my VAG Engine & Transmission Codes app PM me or Google it?

I don't know which are better, but here is a little info from SSP.
CBBB

  • From about 2007
  • 125 kW @ 4200 min-1 / 350 Nm @ 1750-2500 min-1
  • EU4 (EU5 Skoda SSP 80) emissions regulation
  • Common-Rail piezo controlled injectors (110-148 V)
  • Aluminium intake manifold with swirl flaps

CFGB

  • From about 2011
  • 125 kW @ 4200 min-1 / 350 Nm @ 1750-2500 min-1
  • EU5 emissions regulation
  • Common-Rail solenoid valve controlled injectors (12 V)
  • Plastic intake manifold without swirl flaps
  • Some of EGR channel running through the cylinder head.
  • Some with SCR-System

CFGC

  • 130 kW @ 4200 min-1 / 380 Nm @ 1750-2500 min-1
  • Audi Q3

There is no "better" one, the later one is revised to be in accordance with EU5 emissions, basic engine is much the same.

Okay let's ask this way. Which one handles tuning better?
