Passat B8 high beam not working after HBA activation

Hi,

I tried to activate high beam assist on a Passat B8 with LED2 headlamps.
After coding the HBA, the symbol appeared on the instrument cluster.
During driving the blue high beam symbol appearad on the instrument cluster but the headlamps didn't.
After driving I tried to switch back the coding from log file.

Address 09,5Q0 937 086 BD,recoded (Long Coding),from,00071F46C24102FF4BE44004001C07081880000000000000000000000000,to,00071B46C24102FF4BE44004001C07081880000000000000000000000000,(73430/790/00063)

So I wrote back the 09 long code to original 00071F46C24102FF4BE44004001C07081880000000000000000000000000

The high beam doesn't work.
If I try to activate the high beam when the light switch is OFF mode (DRL active), only LOW beam activated instead of high beam but the blue symbol appears.

What can I do?
Please help.

Interesting, because the stock value of 7 in bits 0~2 of byte 2 does not appear to be a defined configuration, either in the label file or in experimental coding for this module. I'm not sure what to tell you here.

This is not my own car. This is a client car who want to activate the DLA.
If I check the autoscan.txt I can see the 09 and A5 WSC code is not default.
So the guy tried to activate the HBA (I think clone cable) and the high beam didn't work when he came to me.

In the long code helper there was only 3 possibility 09 ECU byte02.
- halogen lamp
- xenon with out HBA
- xenon with HBA
I don't know which is a correct value.

You should not use non-experimantal labels anymore here. They are not well maintained for such things.

I'm a bit confused. What do you want to active - HBA or DLA? These do not feature the same functionality.
