Thread: Disable Speaker Monitoring while keeping Fader in Sound Settings

    I believe the culprit here is to change byte 4 from FF to AA
    my Golf came out of the factory with 13 ECUs. now she has 20. and counting

    Well, I had a feeling that I tried AA for byte 4. I tried again but errors remain. The only thing that seems to work is 00 for byte 4 as I described in my original post. I think I'll just keep that coding for now and see if I can live without the "fader" menu

    worked for me, and the fader is still there, even if I couldn't care less. rear speakers are disconnected.
