Hi. I am new to these forums, I accidentally posted this thread in product support already and I couldn't figure out how to delete it so I'm reposting here.
This is my personal car, the cruise has never worked since I owned it. It says "ACC not available" when attempting to engage the cruise. It has code "01044 control module incorrectly coded". I have checked fuses, wiring etc. to the module. I can communicate with the module, it just doesn't seem to work.
My question is, how do I know if the module has the correct coding? I do not know where to find this information. I suspect maybe it had a used module from a salvage yard installed but I do not know the history of the vehicle. Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.
