Hello everyone,

My Polo 2015 1.2 Tsi running at very low Idle speed the RPM is around 650~
When pulling off it's trickier to have a smooth start comparing to similar cars,
Iv'e searched for Increase Idle RPM with no luck.
Can anyone help please?

Remove the deletes/defeats and adapt the TV, ever think of that?

I don't have any deletes. everything is stock =/
I've also noticed that on cold start when the idle revs are higher for the first minute of driving, the car is smoother
tried Throttle Body adapt RPM still below 700, Maybe that is a BMT setting but I find it very bad especially for creeping in bumper to bumper traffic.

Did you check your basics yet for, timing, fuel PSI/volume and possible vacuum leaks?

It doesn't look like there a provision (Adaptation channel) for changing the idle speed in that ECU.

Even if it had an adaption channel this would not correct the loss of power at operating temp and this symptom describes an air leak and or a fuel PSI/volume loss & since is running at faster idle speed during cold warm up as aforementioned, do you understand why now I suspect FOD since no code deviation too?

Did you log ECT/IAT and MAF/MAP check filter/FPR and or pump screen for blockage?

Thank you for your answers! Well, my car has been like this since new but I'll check for any leaks, etc. Should I try to adapt the Fuel Pump for any improvement?

the exact same engine 1.2 90hp and his Idle Speed is just the same 650~ RPM

Another question please-: do you know something about : CAN Gateway control module - Adaptation - IDE01844-Increase idle speed request. The allowable entries are : not active, no request, stage 1, stage 2, stage 3.
Any idea what it does?

Maybe it never ran right from date of delivery or it's time to buy a car with more displacement, smaller wheel & tire size for over all ratio to increase offline torque or consider the dark forces of the AECD manipulators?
