Hi there we have a 2012 golf with no drive, dsg 7 speed. I need info on what the oil pressure in the mechatronics unit should be. Ive looked on ErWin with no luck, any help would be great thanks.

If your DSG box is the 0AM one then the oil pressure should be 70 bar (1015 psi).

If you have VCDS then it would be helpful if post up Auto-Scan results of the car inside some
Code:
tags which will help confirm what DSG box your car actually has so you get the correct advice.

Yes, your DSG box is the 0AM one so the pressure I previously stated is correct for that box. I'm no expert on this but it appears that you either have a Mechatronic failure or a mechanical failure within the DSG box itself.

Have you put in a new Mechatronic unit or done some kind of re-coding for your existing unit? Or has your existing DSG box just stopped working without you having done anything?

I just realised your car is a 2012 model.

I really wouldn't bother trying to sort this out yourself. Your car will still be covered under the original 3-year VW warranty so I would just get it back to your nearest VW dealer ASAP before the warranty expires and let them worry about how to fix the problem. If the car isn't drivable then it should be the responsibility of VW to get it to a dealer premises.
