    OP

So are you saying the car is misfiring & without displaying detection in blocks or is the car not misfiring and displays no misfire in blocks or DTC's?

He should. And I may have steered him off course when I suggested he type 'misfire' into the search/filter box because the guys in the white labcoats in the Fatherland labelled those: "Numb.of misfir."

Seriously guys? "Misfir." doesn't save a single bleeping character over "Misfire".

No the car is running like a clock. I thought this was what zienerdiode wanted but I also saw all those identities you mentioned above scrolling through. I can revisit those later in the week.

Many thanks indeed. Your values are low - what would be expected in normal running. I have had my HEX-NET displaying those MVB on my phone whilst driving. A little shudder at idle would increment a couple of the counters. But I found no way of resetting them (I've seen the values in the order of 2,000) so was just curious of what you had in there.

At Uwe, Shaun, is there a way for the VCDS-Mobile app to send 'KeepAlives' to iOS to prevent the screen from blanking and locking when MVB or gauges etc. are displayed?

    So Zener,
Do you know what period of time those values would relate to? The last time the car was driven, or over a longer period of time? BTW my son had those thousands of misfires you noted on his GTI in the Netherlands. That was after being tuned by a high end shop. It went like a bat out of hell but at idle was so rough it was throwing hundreds of misfires on basically every cylinder. Not sure it was ever resolved. He moved on to another car.
