Buddy, you know nothing about me and if you actually knew me, you would know I'm the opposite of lazy. I work full time as a heavy equipment mechanic, have sole custody of my kids, hit up the gym 3-4 times a week and am involved with multiple car projects at any given time. In fact my issue is that I don't get enough rest and that will prolly be my downfall.

Hey guys, I know it been some time but I wanted to report my findings with swapping out modules. My 2009 Jetta had a faulty module. Part number 1K0 907 379 AD. I found a module from a 2011 Mark 6 Jetta, Part number 1K0 907 379 AT. I was able to successfully program it and get it fully functional with no issues and working perfectly.

As far as programming it, I had to add 2 extra 0's to the coding and it worked perfectly. The only code I had is for a longitudinal sensor which I don't have on my 09, which is part of the "Hill Hold" feature. Maybe at some point I can add the sensor to the car and have that feature.
