The engineering problems are likely insurmountable. It would be like proposing to land a rocket booster section on a barge floating in the middle of the ocean.

Holy smoke! This is much easier than sitting in my hot/humid garage reading through all the options on my laptop. This is WAY cool. BTW, I have now found the front heated seat settings (my initial adjustment was only made to the rear seats) AND found the entry to reset/turn off the seats.

If you are interested, here is a readout of the Excel spreadsheet:

Is there a way to tell what some of the options are...without just trying them? For instance, what are these:
IDE03641-Presentation run dynamic AFS light not active
    IDE03642-Presentation mode not active
IDE09156-Matrix headlamp: function at standstill not active

I would guess that "presentation mode" is something that used to be called "Showroom mode" where a very small motion of the steering wheel produces an exaggerated motion of the lights.

In my tiguan its a short cycle where all the light shutters/segments are activated sequentially at engine start, as a sort of pre-drive check. It was enabled from the factory.

Nothing to lose by turning it on (The first channel that ends with 641) and seeing what it looks like, can imagine it will give quite a nice sequence with those high-end matrix lights.

Have you had any time to make the admaps of the other modules i posted?

Yes, I have almost all my desired settings completed. There are a few exceptions, but my vehicle might not be capable.

[x]AC recirculate remembers last setting (or defaults to recirculate)
    [x]More data displayed in HUD
    [ ]Auto-brights on by default
[x]Adjust heated seats run time and setting step-down (5min on three, 10min on two, indefinitely on one)
[x]Adjust heated seats reset time when car powered off (now set to ten minutes from 42.5min)
    [x]Open/close windows with remote
[ ]Adjust auto-volume settings (gets too loud at speed)
    [x]Enable lap timer
[ ]Close trunk with foot motion
[ ]Open and/or close trunk with driver's door button
[x]Open and/or close trunk with keyfob
    [x]Disable seat-belt chime
    [x]Enable Adaptive brake lights
[x]Do NOT remember settings for heated seats
[x]Disable NAV & Phone warning messages while entering data at speed
    [x]Adjust massage intensity (now set to 55, 65, 75, 85, and 95%)

Hi Dave, I can open my trunk (boot as we call it in the UK) with my key fob, But it won't close although it opens and closes with the electric switch on the drivers door panel if you hold it down.

How did you enable that my friend.?

There is an entry I changed in section 6D-ADPMAP Trunk Elect:

IDE02136-MAS04217-Activation using rear lid opening button in remote key-Touch function for closing active 1

I have a strange scenario and am looking for advice. One of the tweaks I recently made was to the heated seat settings. Specifically, I want to units (all four seats) to reset/turn off when the vehicle is shut off for five minutes or more. The previous setting allowed for quite some time and it was a little annoying to drop of a passenger, return to the vehicle fifteen minutes later and start the car. Although the front passenger seat was now empty, the heated seat would still be activated. I believe the default setting was to "reset" after ~30 minutes.

Fast forward to today. I have tried numerous different settings in the section labeled: 08 - Auto HVAC IDE03541-Time until deactivation heated / ventilated seat at engine off

Not only have none of the changes made the system turn off more quickly, but now the seats stay on until you manually turn them off (even after several hours). The setting is currently set to 300 s (which I assume is 300 seconds/five minutes). I have also tried a setting of 0 s. As recently as yesterday I confirmed that the driver's seat stays on the last setting even after being parked for several hours.

I have been able to successfuly adjust the time when the heated seats power from stage 3 to stage two and so on:
08 - Auto HVAC IDE02371-Time until heated seat power withdrawal stage 3 to stage 2
08 - Auto HVAC IDE02372-Time until heated seat power withdrawal stage 2 to stage 1

But the reset to zero just won't "take". Any suggesions?
