Good evening
Whilst out in the car today my battery light came on. I wasn't too far from home so decided to continue. I turned off the heated seats etc to reduce the load and also monitored the battery level on the MMI (it stayed at 100% although I wonder how accurate it is). About five minutes later the EPS light also came on. As I got near to home both lights went out!
I put a multi-meter on the battery once at home - it was showing 13.8 v at idle and 13.5 v with all the electrical equipment on.
The VCDS scan is below. I assume the issues I experienced relate to the issues that are logged from today:
- 053255 - Please check Fault Memory in Battery Monitoring Module
- 009783 - Torque Management Feedback Signal A
- 18265 - Load Signal
- 02252 - Generator (looking at the times this seemed to happen first)
- 02479 - Partial Consumer Shut-Off Active
I'd appreciate any thoughts on what might be wrong. Some research suggests it might be the regulator?
