I'm trying to retrofit 3G High MMI out of a 2012 Q7 into my 2007 Q7 which came with 2G High MMI.
I got my parts from a parts car, I have the gateway, cluster, media control unit (with sd card and sim card slots), screen, Bose Amp (both vehicles are BOSE), and HVAC control.
I already know about the HVAC fan control issue, so I will grab that part soon. Anything else I need to consider? I retrofitted Air Suspension earlier this year, is there any reason to think the new MMI won't play nicely with the air suspension module? I can handle the wiring part no problem, have diagrams for both vehicles.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
