Two lesser known functions of VCDS, the ability to view live data in graph form, and the ability to record data in real time.
But even fewer people know that VC-Scope can be opened up as a stand alone program and play back log files.

The VC-Scope is in the same folder as VCDS, C:\Ross-Tech\VCDS in most cases. Look for the "VCScope.exe" file.

With the VC-Scope up and running click on the icon in the lower left corner:

By default, the saved logs are saved in the \Logs folder of VCDS. Select the *.csv log file you wish to play back:

Now grab some pop corn and enjoy log file being played back:

If VC-Scope is running in Stand-alone mode, VCDS will not start.

Enjoy.
