I don't know:
- What the fault code corresponds to (not found in the database)
- How to erase it (apparently, I've no issue with the system)

Looking into maintenance bills, it correponds to 2 tires replacement in a 'tires replacement shop', where I assume, no Tire Pressure Monitoring System has been done, after new tires installation... I like 'so-called' professionals... :facepalm:

Since this is an indirect TPMS system, there should a reset button in the car somewhere, or possibly an menu item in the MMI. Check your owner's manual.

Set tire pressures correctly, then do the reset and drive the car some.

Thanks for your answer.
I've switched from summer to winter tires, last week-end. I've set the pressure correctly and reset the TPMS thru the MMI.
I've made first scan. Noticed this fault code. Than rest the TPMS thru the MMI at least 10 times before making a second scan and... facing the same fault code...
I've no idea about what to do.

What strikes me the most, is that the default occurred 2 years ago and is still there... What have they done in that tires station ?... It's still a mystery for me... :rolleyes:

Dumb question, but that TPMS DTC is Confirmed Intermittent. Did you clear it with VCDS to see if it reoccurs?

This is a long shot but I located a RoW market TPI (Tyre Pressure Monitoring System on - Q3 2.0l EA288 | Transaction No.: 2040264/5) and thought of this thread. That TPI made mention of engine software causing several DTCs including C1146F2: Tyre Pressure Monitoring System EEPROM fault (brake electronics only). That isn't your exact ABS DTC but the 04L 906 016 BG EDC number was a match.

Because your Q3 already has a newer SWL in it (likely due to an emissions "fix") I don't think an engine specific dealer level software update is going to help however that TPI mentioned Check the tyre pressure of all tyres, reset the Tyre Pressure Monitoring System with the Guided Fault Finding and delete all event entries. Hmmm

I don't know what that guided plan would do however your ABS module supports the following Basic Settings operations:

[*IDE05334*] Reset tire pressure monitoring display warnings
[*IDE05060*] Reset to factory setting of tire pressure monitoring display

I wouldn't fear the first one but the 2nd one may or may not have undesirable results. It looks like this guy needed to use one of the SA codes in Don's thread before IDE05334 became accessible:

Additional questions to clarify: was the next scan run and fault code reappeared immediately after clearing or after driving some distance?
Are there any TPMS related warning lights and/or messages displayed, too?

OK. MartinsX may have more to add however the fact that the TPMS light isn't on makes me wonder if that's software bug -or- confusion that may be resolved with a battery disconnect.

In the meanwhile, I would try Basic Settings operation: [*IDE05334*] Reset tire pressure monitoring display warnings

If you receive an error (such as Security Access required) please see that above linked thread for SA codes if 40168 doesn't provide access to that Basic Setting group.

Just for fun: PSA group vehicles have completely different philosophy for diagnostics of car electronics at all. Modules may be full of fault codes (and they are, especially latest model years), but technician must pay no attention to them if there are no customer complaints, no warning lights/messages and everything works according user manual.
