I had a play about with VCDS tonight when I got back from my working away all week, the result is:

Both sets of buttons are working on my new Golf Mk6 flat bottom wheel.

The left hand side does change volume, station and music tracks on my Chinese head unit. the CC is still on the stalk and all still works fine.

The right hand buttons change the full menus of the MDF, this is with leaving the controls on the wiper stalk in-place.

I would like to eventually change the left hand buttons to include CC, I don’t know if this is possible yet ive read that people who have tried to do this even with changing out the left hand stalk to none CC still cant get the buttons to work…would like to hear if anyone managed to make this CC work of the MFSW button.

thanks for all your help guys

    Patrick

    PS:

    Hi Partic,

Would you mind sharing the solution with me.

I fitted a Passat padleshift MFSW and I got same issues. buttons lit up, paddles working, but the buttons does not.
I have a 2012 Caravelle MFSW activated with VCDS

    Alex
