    2011 Audi A3 S-line 2.0 'white display' cluster - digital speedometer

I've not accessed this car yet, but the owner says he doesn't have the digital speedometer on the central display. I was under the impression that many A3's of this age with the full height white display should have the digital speedometer as an option on their display, is this something than can be enabled/disabled with VCDS?

My guess is no, that it's a function of the software in the cluster, but without seeing a scan, that's just a guess.

The engineering problems are likely insurmountable. It would be like proposing to land a rocket booster section on a barge floating in the middle of the ocean.
