VW golf mk1 bordnetz contorl

has any one had an issue to programme a new bordnetz control to the vehicle can any one help to explain how to match cluster and bordnetzt units

It's unlikely that there's much experience available here with this, since those cars were only made for and sold in South Africa (and possibly some adjacent countries).

Now for the uninitiated, yes there really were Mk.1 "City" Golfs made in South Africa that had diagnostic-capable control modules:
