This is my first post and I'm a complete beginner when it comes to VCDS so I'm hoping for some help/guidance to solve the issue with my car.
I'll try to keep the post short but it might go on a bit.
I only had the car a week and one evening I was driving it to see family then all of a sudden I felt a small loss of power then by the time I got to my end destination the car was really low on power, misfiring and a lot of smoke coming out of the exhaust, I assumed fuel as it was a really pungent smell. The roadside assistance company came and plugged their diagnostics into the car it is showed the following codes:
P0300 - Random/multiple cylinder misfire
P0302 - Cylinder 2 misfire
P0303 - Cylinder 3 misfire
P120A - Cylinder deactivation
P2293 - Fuel pressure regulator 2 performance
Cut a long story short, I got the car recovered to my local garage who were adamant it was a turbo failure and said it was too much for them to take on and would need to go to a specialist.
I wasn't so sure so rather than scrap the car I wanted to buy VCDS to see what I could find to possibly salvage the car.
So...the garage cleared the codes, I drove the car home and this is what I got on and auto-scan. No misfires but a MAF sensor issue.
I wanted to see how it drove tonight so I cleared the codes before I took the car out with the intention to see what an auto-scan showed following the car being driven. Shortly before I was due to finish my test drive it started to misfire again. The code following the drive is below...
I've being going round in circles thinking I need a low pressure fuel pump, a high pressure fuel pump, a MAF sensor or even just coils.
Are these fault codes something that's a definite issue, easily diagnosed or something that is going to need checking one by one? Obviously, that'll take me some time as I can do the checks, it's just trying to understand what the information means or what I need to look out for.
If anyone can help that'd be great as I'm currently having to borrow a car until I can get this one fixed, I just didn't think it was the turbo and think I should try and salvage the car.

End----------(Elapsed Time: 01:17, VBatt start/end: 12.6V/12.5V)-----------I've being going round in circles thinking I need a low pressure fuel pump, a high pressure fuel pump, a MAF sensor or even just coils.
Are these fault codes something that's a definite issue, easily diagnosed or something that is going to need checking one by one? Obviously, that'll take me some time as I can do the checks, it's just trying to understand what the information means or what I need to look out for.
If anyone can help that'd be great as I'm currently having to borrow a car until I can get this one fixed, I just didn't think it was the turbo and think I should try and salvage the car.
