The part number of the keys, both the new one and the original, is 1k0 959 753 GWhat part number is the Key?
Both are 434MHz as this is in europe, but the remote part is already working.
All markings are identical between the original and the new key except the new key also have "ANATEL 1137-J2-2856" marked on it.
I am not sure I understand what you are asking for here(I also need the colour code part EG. INB/INF)
Is this a code on the key housing?
Could this be related to having no WSC number in VCDS???
Code:Address 25: Immobilizer Labels: 1K0-920-xxx-25.clb Part No: 2K0 920 842 C Component: IMMO VDD 1012 Shop #: WSC 00000 000 00000 VCID: 290FFC1D05F3699FBE9-807C No fault code found.
The other modules in the original autoscan all have WSC number in them.
This setup is very similar to my 2x 2006 Tourans - one early-ish, one late; and I can match keys to them, but I have WSC's in mine.
Could you check if your immo id is WVX or WVZ ?
Getting a confirmation (or disaproval) on the WVX/WVZ difference would be nice.
Do you have an example on how the format should be?I doubt it, but it couldn't hurt to put some random WSC, Importer, and Equipment Number values in on the Options screen in VCDS (User Interface & Identification tab), save them, and restart VCDS.

I dont want to put some random things in there that could cause issues in the future.
Or is this something that can be changed many times?
I am not familiar with WSC abbreviaton... What does it mean?
edit: The forum software translated this to WorkShop Code but I am still not sure what it is or what it is used for. trackability and insurance?
I did many time mk5 after 2006.6, ofcourse i read Security Block, put Component Security to TP, then program with vcds.
Maybe i never came across WVX.
This is very encouraging
Can you confirm that your success stories relate to WVZ systems?
