Hello
now is the first time i write on a forum for help.
is not good in english so have to use google translate to write better
have been stuck in ideas of what the error in my car might be.
the car unlocks itself and opens all 4 windows.

I have no wrong codes on the lock. has also replaced the driver and passenger side lock boxes. Replace cables in the driver's door and have no cable break. the comfort controller is 2 years old bought brand new. have been looking under the carpet for bad cables and cable breakage. have also seen that the lamp under the door does not go out when the door is closed

Even though there are no fault codes please post a full unedited VCDS Auto-Scan, this will show how your car is equipped and make it easier to make good suggestions.

Hello and thank you

There is something wrong with the Central Locking,Key Switch in Driver or Passenger Door.
I prefer checking the measurement in "46" channel 003,1,Central Locking,Key Switch Drv.,Range: open/closed/not operated/implausible
and 006,1,Central Locking,Key Switch Pass.,Range: open/closed/not operated/implausible.
Maybe defektive micro switches or water inside:thumbs:

these are brand new. mounted these yesterday when I believed in this error. during the day i have been wondering if my comfort controllers can be wrong even if this is now quite new. can there be poor soldering?

Have you cleared the fault codes since you fitted the new locks? Fault codes do not always clear automatically.

yes then they are gone. another disappeared today when I changed the glass in the rear view mirror. I have a code that comes o goes which is for the tailgate. the cable to be in the lock in the tailgate is completely green and does not find a good tool for removing the cables or spray to dissolve the oxide. but I have a hard time believing this to work on the locks beyond

Hello again . now i have been looking o looking but not coming to anything. has a theory about another problem. the car draws thief current 0.36A. the interior lighting is lit up and related several times. the lamp under the right door is constantly lit. the car unlocks, the window goes down. even when i removed the fuse, the lamp shines under the door but then dim. now this thief current can give the comfort controller wrong signals. have been looking for this all day but no one is going anywhere. has taken out o put in the comfort of the harness several times but this draws no current. all the cables from the driver's door I took table o then the current went down to 0.27A

Get the frogs out of CCM under front passenger seat. And unwrap wiring loom going to CCM plus from left A pillar to left B pillar. Several power and signal wiring splicing are wraped here and, unfortunately VW does not use waterproof heatshrink tubes on wiring splices on Passats before MY2001.

do not mean you are leading the page that ccm sits. there are many of these contacts, I tore this down in spring o fixed some of these which were green. fixed this more solder joints. but there are several in the b pillar. these can cause it to draw so much current and make the comfort controller crazy
