Finding out what features can be unlocked

hi, new here,

is there a way to find out what features can be unlocked on any vw or audi by just having the registration of the vehicle? also can someone link me to the thread that shows what features can be unlocked and how to do it.

It all depends on what the car has. VCDS doesn't do magic, it works within the limits of how THAT car, more specific, THAT control module was designed. So cars with the same sheet metal can have different bells and whistles to play with.

You can run a full Auto-Scan on any given VW or Audi without locking in a VIN. That will capture part numbers and coding of control modules, from that, post results and ask if [XYZ] can be done in the tweaks or retrofit section of the forums.
