Hello all,

tried to activate bluetooth for audio streaming on a3 8v but I wasn't successful.

It showed bluetooth actiated and other possible bits and controller accepted changes and nothing happened in the car.

So, I checked all the bits 0-3 and I have put bit 4-5 on visibility ON, but nothing happens. Also, I know there is no navigation and telephone connectivity in the car, if that means something.

It's my friend's car and I really don't know. He bought it used.

The basic MMI radio on an early A3 8V has BT as an option, so I'd guess the BT hardware is there but its disabled and can be activated at the dealer for a sum of money.
