I have been looking through VCDS more to learn how things look and experiment with a few features. One thing I came across was this post https://www.golfmk6.com/forums/showthread.php?t=25039 showing some easy adjustments that can be done with the Mk6 Golf R. Specifically looking at the XDS adjustments that are mentioned, I went looking into my own settings and see this:
I thought that was a bit weird, but if I go into the long coding section to see if I can get an explanation, I see this:
So basically, I am wondering if this would seem expected (i.e. if that box is unchecked then it would make sense to not see the channel in group 36, which I guess means someone else has changed these settings before me), or am I actually missing something in the car but it isn't giving me any errors or codes that would trip anything? This is a used car and it was involved in a crash, but I can't imagine this was part of something that was missed when putting it back together...or essentially what else comprises the XDS system that I should check to make sure my car hasn't been messed with?
