After receiving my VCDS i made an attempt to correct an (newly discovered after springs/struts) issue with my steering wheel not moving up / down (telescope is fine).
Steering Column Adjustment Prerequisites:
1.Steering Column or Central Electronics Control Module (J519) have been replaced or,
2.Approach and adjust all 4 end positions (up, down, forward, back).
[09 Central Electronics]
[04 Basic Settings] Group 001 [Go!]
Activate the Basic Setting. [ON/OFF/Next]
The adjustment should now be learned. adjust all 4 end positions (up, down, forward, back).
[Done, Go Back]
[Close Controller, Go Back - 06]
** HAVE NOW DISABLED POWER Steering Column Basic Setting - Group
** 001 – Disabled Voltage Supply (Terminal 30 left)
I have the following coding in [09] and am looking for help to get rid of the DIS warn.
all bulbs are tested and sockets are fresh.
I am wondering how to ENABLE voltage back to the Terminal 30 Left and confirm.
*hope this is the fix.
