Thank you for allowing me to join the forum and greetings from Central Queensland. I don’t have a Ross-Tech device as yet but would appreciate guidance on the right one for my main use which will be for Crafter 35 50 with the 2.5 BJ engine and Shiftmatic transmission. The Shiftmatic is an automated manual transmission. As you will be aware the Crafter were part assembled by MB then finally assembled by VW but they do share the same transmission as the early Sprinters, I am hoping that VW used their own platform to control the transmission which to make things interesting has controls from Magnetii Marelli Eaton.
Has anyone been able to perform a clutch relearn and transmission set up on a Crafter, this has to be completed when the clutch is changed etc to learn the initial clutch bite point?
If the Ross-Tech will perform this my order will follow and I would be happy to write up the full process.
