Soot mass calculated before regen was 11.6g, 0.35g after, but soot mass measured was 24.6g before regen, 32.8g after?

Dpf differential pressure is 1hPa ignition on engine off, 41hPa at idle.
Offset is 1hPa.

Normal or not.

Had blocked pressure sensor pipe on dpf week ago..... sensor G450 was checked and ok then....

A DPF won't normally regen if you have Engine fault codes. If you fix your engine fault, then the DPF should be able to regen and reduce the measured soot mass.
Otherwise, I suspect there is still a problem with the DPF pressure sensor and/or connection pipes.

P02CB00 fault code, limp mode

Transporter 2011, 2.0 biTdi 4motion CFCA engine. 171000 miles.

Had dpf light and coil light come on whilst driving to airport (150miles). Limp mode.

Had vw roadside assistance come out, ws blocked dpf filter ( and dpf pressure differential sensor pipe), turbo pressure too low. Fault codes p02cb00 and P246300.

He cleared pipe, tested G450 sensor, manual regen of dpf. Has new MAP sensor.

It cleared the dpf fault but the low boost still returns after about 1/2 a mile.

A DPF won't normally regen if you have Engine fault codes. If you fix your engine fault, then the DPF should be able to regen and reduce the measured soot mass.
Otherwise, I suspect there is still a problem with the DPF pressure sensor and/or connection pipes.

Having problems finding the cause of the turbocharger 'b' boost pressure too low fault code. Any ideas?

Is there anyway to test the dpf pressure sensor G450? Volkswagen did test it last week and seemed ok???

Will recheck pipework to sensor for blockages/soot build up again.

How did they test it, did they apply pressure and check for valid readings?

How did they test it, did they apply pressure and check for valid readings?

It was Volkswagen roadside assistance , have no idea how he did it, he tried new sensor too......

Hi,
with regards to low turbo pressure. The way I read scan, the engine (ECU) wants 2.65bar, it gets 2,36, a difference in 0,3bars, hmmm.
(Hectopascal / 1000 = bar -> hectopascal = millibars).

Car has 275633km, and I also recon a bit idling, might be time for a turbo overhaul. Just out of curiosity, what is your time between service (oil change)?
Please also note that the intake filter has an estimated soiling of above 18%, dirty/clogged filter will cause air starvation, hence lower pressure.

If not done so recently, change to new air filter, new high quality oil and oil filter, might be worth to try this before starting to change more parts.

Oil changes are done every 4-6months, as i only do approx 8000miles/12000km per year, mostly urban / town driving, short journeys.

air filter is a re-usable K&N style type. Will check and clean as per instructions.

Has had a complete new bi-turbo unit (not sure when, was previous owner) can look when it was tonight as have all repair receipts etc.

Found SSP45 online which gives a very indepth explanation of the biturbo system and the 3 stages of twin turbo system.

I have now noticed that my coolant expansion bottle is losing coolant, drops from maximum line to minimum line in 24hrs (20miles). No obvious signs of external leaks. No overheating of engine.

Could this be a leaking egr cooler?
Would this create the low turbo boost pressure fault?
Would this create the dpf clogging issue i had?

Egr was replaced in august 2016 for the 'D' suffix version as the earlier 'A -C' versions were at fault of breaking down internally.
