Hello,
I'd like to purchase the latest VCDS but have a question before I do. I retrofitted the complete OEM air suspension system to my 2015 Touareg 7P (Canadian spec). It is fully functional, and I was able to code the cluster, gateway, and engine ECUs, but am unable to code the ABS module (MK25A). VCDS says that coding for this module is generally done with SVM and offers no bit explanations in long coding. I have compiled a large list of ABS coding for various 7Ps from around the world that have factory air suspension and I believe I'm certain which bits need to change (found the difference with models that do have and do not have air suspension). When I go to change these bits, the coding fails. I currently have an ABS DTC for "module incorrectly coded", which disables my traction control and ACC.
I'm used a friends VCDS 16.8. Does the latest version support MK25A coding, or have some long coding info for the MK25A ABS module, or perhaps a security access code? I'm pretty confident that bit 1 and 4 need to be changed.
