I have an oil pressure gauge attached with a "T" at the pressure switch port. In cold the oil pressure is 40 psi and after 5 miles there's no pressure at all.

How is that it doesn't or didn't apply, shouldn't it of been recalled for safety issue's?

Did you complain to NHTSA yet?

Why or where are you losing the oil PSI in the engine?

Don't you realize that safety campaigns are for 15/150K even if self imposed?

Why: that's what I'm asking help in this forum.

Where: the "Low Pressure Light" came on, after troubleshooting decided to put a new oil pump; didn't fix the problem.

How about inspecting the adjuster for cam & bridge for damage as a result from inadequate useful life failure & possible FOD?

Did you change filter and inspect bypass or regulation for proper function?

Does it have another name? I search on the Manual for "cam bridge", "camshaft bridge", "camshaft bracket", "adjuster" with no results.
