^^^^^ In the words of the "Dictator" to another post "color me confused"! Where precisely does VCDS perport to report the BCM as being unsupported? And why not start by posting-up a complete, unedited copy of the auto-scan for the car in question?

There are reasons why that version is not current.

The engineering problems are likely insurmountable. It would be like proposing to land a rocket booster section on a barge floating in the middle of the ocean.
