Hi, Audi A3 DSG 7 dry clutch.
Vehicle arrived with codes - 05981 = clutch 1 opens unintentionally & 05982 = clutch 1 closes unintentionally.
Shifts from cold start were very poor, slipping clunking. Was 80% better at running temp but not perfect.
Remove trans & replaced clutches, No sign of oil leaks. Order series 1 clutch via vin & installed with Luk special tools , Refit to vehicle warm, preform basic settings & Defined test drive.
when slowing for a corner and the trans shifts down 5-4 And I accelerate out of the corner at normal throttle it thumps harshly back to 3rd. Ive done about 50km driving and redone basic settings 3 x with no improvement.
The upshift in to 5th & 7th are firm, not harsh, nothing the customer would complain about.
And some times the 3 to 4 up shift has a very minor flare like the clutch for 3rd let go before 4th clutch applied - that's being fussy though.
Running temp makes these issues less, They are more obvious from cold start.
There are no codes logging.
Might I have a faulty Mechatronic unit?
