On vehicles, the rear turn-signal lamps are usually the 2 x Leuchte-sets in my last response :
Leuchte18BLK HLA60 (left side) and
Leuchte19BLK HRC31 (right-side). But if the vehicle is fitted with LED tails, the inner turn-signal lamps are usually controlled via
Leuchte16BLK SLB35BLK SL KC9 (left-side) and
Leuchte17TFL R BLK SRB3TFL R BLK SR KC3 (right-side).
And herein lies your dilemma! Leuchte-set names indicate the pin assignment that is controlled - I've highlighted the pin allocations in the Leuchte names above (i.e. in
Leuchte18BLK HLA60, "A60" means pin #60, Socket A"). Your dilemma will be that on cars, unless they were factory fitted with LED Tails, ALL the highlighted pins in the Leuchte names above will
not have a connected wire in the car loom. So, the pins in the tail-light fittings at the rear of the car will be missing these wires. As confirmation -it might be prudent to eye-ball the number of wires that terminate onto the tail-light connector.
Of course, you can install these wires to replicate the arrangement on models . If you attempt this solution, I suggest that you physically eye-ball that ALL 4 x pins are actually populated on the housing before proceeding.
But some of your compatriots have found another solution; the technique that's sometimes used is a bit of a cheat in that the tail light connectors are re-pinned and an additional cross wiring adapter is used to re-configure tails. Ostensibly, this has the effect of joining together the tail-light wires for the left and right side Brake lights and doing the same for the left and right side Position lights. This results in the creation of 2 x spare wires - which can then be used to function as left and right side turn-signal wires. Of course, module coding is needed for the re-purposing of these "pseudo spare wires". However, the manner of the Leuchte-(re)programming is not the same as model cars because the cross-wiring harness that's required using this technique re-allocates the Leuchte-sets to a non- arrangement.
Worth considering - I think!
