Isn't vacuum used & switched by diverter valve to permit secondary safety boost pulses & not the WG control?

Vacuum is not used to control the WG in a 1.8T, isn't it boost always diverted to WG spring motor and blocked by N75 to permit WG closed by spring tension and boost increased by this method of N75 recirculating boost to turbo at T connection?

Isn't the spring strength of WG air motor also equally Important to hold exhaust to turbine up be spun and permit boost build up?

Don't you think you should read SSP & RTFB for explained operations of design & function?

    1. & 2. Of course it is not vacuum from the intake that controlls the wastegate actuator. ( My bad )

    3. I have no knowledge of this.

    4. I am a beginner/rookie to this so I have no reason not to want to learn more and be taught about the 1.8T engine.

I suggest you pickup a repair manual and post a complete auto-scan, it's mysteriously missing.

This was not the answer I was hoping for.

I would like help setting up/adjust the wastegate actuator on my 1.8T engine.

It might be easier if you only posted questions on this subject in the thread you have started, posting in multiple threads ALWAYS causes confusion

Can you confirm whether the engine ECU has been "chip tuned" as Jack suspects - see your original thread?
