About 6 months ago my radio gradually stopped working.
I eventually found out that the washer fluid hose between trunk and roof liner had broken and washer fluid had poured down the trunk inside and on the right hand side of the car.
With time the fluid has caused the connector(s) to the BOSE amplifier in the back to corrode, short and break. I replaced the BOSE amp with an identical unit and the stereo now worked again.
Around the same time I also became aware my parking aid no longer worked: when engaging the reverse a sound/tone would go off from the front of the car (front buzzer) but then no further tones were given when parking between cars (so no front or rear audible signals).
I first attributed this to a clutch/flywheel install around the same time thinking they had forgotten to connect the reverse switch. However reverse lights work and I do get that one tone when engaging the reverse gear.
So I now think it's to do with that washer fluid leakage.
Here's what I have done to troubleshoot:
Is there anything I can do using VCDS to find the error? Otherwise I think I will have to remove the rear bumper and inspect...

I would be surprised if it was the buzzer (01543) since its on the left hand side in the trunk and was not affected by washer fluid leaking.
