Hello!
At the beginning I want to say hello to everyone

I have a problem with my Golf MK7 2.0 TDI, tried to find something but nobody can help. I tried to retrofit my steering wheel. Before retrofit i had steering wheel without Cruise Control and buttons from Head unit. Cruise Control and buttons from my board computer been located in Turn Levers. My gateway was Low version.

I decided to change:
- Steering wheel to MFSW,
- Turn Levers with CCS buttons into Turn Lever without CCS buttons
- Gateway from Low to High (Component Protection unlocked in Dealer workshop)
- steering wheel airbag harness

Nowadays i have a problem with activate Cruise Control, my Dealer said that i need SVM code, and this code is delivered only with original part from VW shop (must buy a part number: 5g0 959 442j - MFSW buttons) and activate via ODIS/GEKO online. I have VCDS in my home so i decided to deactivate CCS and Limiter in Engine Control Module because if CCS and Limiter are acitve, i have a fault code in ECU module:
- 17149 - Check Coding of ECUs on Powertrain Data Bus
and in my dashboard blinks yellow glow-plug light.

I tried to coding via VCDS some others modules like Gateway but nothing help. I have access to VAS5054A, maybe samobody can help me with this issue?

Thanks

please post an autoscan so we can see how the car is equipped.

anyways, you probably just need to go back to the dealer to have the FeC codes restored in the Gateway. this is normal when replacing gateways, and 9 dealers out of 10 don't know what we're talking about.

Problem is that he does not have the FeC. If OP wants to enable CCS, a CCS kit needs to be purchased from authorized dealer. They will then code the CCS and activate it online with the one-time use code that is provided with the kit.
