Hello, i have one problem with my DSG software.
I have skoda octavia MK3 year 2015 DSG 7. My mechatronic was damaged so i buy new one with tha same HW number 0AM 927 769 E (DSG7). I check and the mechatronic unit but the origin was from Seat Leon 1.8TSI. Of course skoda dealer unblock the component protection - no immo error. All working, but the dealer no reflash the firmware. Is it possible to do it?

Now on new (SEAT) i have this:

Address 02: Auto Trans (J743) Labels: 0CW-927-769.clb
Part No SW: 0CW 300 042 H HW: 0AM 927 769 E
Component: GSG DQ200G2_M H05 1604
Revision: 000050085 Serial number: CU5017712155584

On my previous unit (SKODA) was:
Address 02: Auto Trans (J743) Labels: 0CW-927-769.clb
Part No SW: 0CW 300 048 J HW: 0AM 927 769 E
Component: GSG DQ200G2_M H05 0611
Revision: 00005005 Serial number: CU501507115569

The problem is that new TCM as two error: one is that no communication with parking break module ( yes because skoda has no EPB) and second is with RPM ( software for TSI is different).

So the Part No SW is different and Software verson is different.. Is it possible to reflash it ?

Thank

I imagine there are tools that can do this.

But not with VCDS.

I can see, that such P/N DSG software is only for VW.

I haven't tested these new DSG-s to such extent to give an answer, but file You're looking may be FL_0CW300048J_0611_OVMM_sw.frf, that is found on VW flash disc.

It wouldn't hurt to śee blockmap for your old DSG to see if identifier "OVMM" is the same for Skoda and VW.

So what to tell to skoda dealer? Because sometimes they are like a monkey and do base on manual. I wanna origin dsg software to 1.6tdi 81kw car?

Since the HW part number and the hardware revision are both the same, if I was having this issue that would be enough positives for me to try reflashing. But as stated by Uwe, you will need different tools for that since VCDS doesn’t do flashing. Also, I would also consider the fact that component protection and/or immobilizer faults will reappear and will again have to be corrected by the dealer after a reflash. Usually they don’t appear after a flash to a higher SW version, but I wouldn’t be schocked if they do reappear after a flash to a different SW part.

Official statement of skoda dealer. : we can not do it. We only flash virgin unit. Used unit only updated and adapted. What a pitty that garage maister can do it better than dealer. I know guys who bypass official steps too.
